Spring at Your Apartment

Spring is here in full swing and other than the allergies, everything should be rocking around your apartment. People are out walking their dogs, picnics and barbecues are starting to happen more frequently, and you will slowly see folks sunbathing at the community pool.
As we dive into spring with all of our might and head towards summer, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, you might have done a number of things around your apartment to get yourself braced for the cold of winter. The time has come to change things back to the way they were before that.
Stop Using the Flannel Sheets- You can put away your flannel sheets, thick down comforter, and the extra blankets that you have had on top of the couch. Hopefully your apartment has a little extra storage either in your master, entry, or patio closet to store these things.
Heater- Pop open the windows and let the fresh spring air in. Turn off the central heat and put away and store the space heaters. Make sure that you wipe all dust off of the space heaters before you store them in a clean DRY place off of the ground.
Flowers- Spring not only brings showers, but it also brings flowers. Guys, whether it’s your girlfriend, wife, fiance, sister, mother, best friend, etc, be sure to take the ladies of your lives flowers to decorate their apartments. Ladies, I wouldn’t sit around waiting for guys to bring them, go out and pick some up and add a ton of color to your place with spring flowers. And guys, you could decorate with flowers too…It would impress the ladies and you’d look more sophisticated.
Other Plants- If you had moved your plants inside during the winter, you can start taking them back out on the porch for some spring sun. They’ll enjoy it, but make sure to water them too. I neglected a small potted plant that I had on my desk at work once….I’ll never do it again…\
Pool- The community pool may soon become bustling with activity. Remember to keep in mind that you are sharing this pool with other people and families so be respectful of others. Try not to splash the sunbathers and clean up after yourself.
So enjoy spring around your apartment. Get outside and soak up the sun.

For us, it's usually the beginning of the week before classes start. Classes usually begin on a Wednesday, so people usually move in the Sunday before that.
We put our house in the market 1 year ago in preparation of building our new home….It's still on the market. In order to avoid getting stuck with a bridge loan we elected to wait until our house sold before building – THANK GOODNESS!!!!
Your home may sell in a week, and I hope it does for all of your sakes. But, on the chance that it takes a while, I think you have a great game plan of trying to sell now and moving into an apartment until your ready.
It's stressful selling a house under the best of circumstances, never mind if you're really financially stressed! Not to mention, the real estate market is cooling in many areas of this country.
I wish you the best of luck!
Well isn't that just dandy..
and put it back to gether up stairs!
1. cut it in half
2. buy a new one
3. try different angles to move it up stairs!
4. make your own box springs with planks of wood it will help hold the mattrice on
i'd suggest trying craigslist.com for evansville, there will be rental listings, some with full furnishings. Or, you could find a person looking for a roommate, and rent from them for a month or two, using this time to search the area for your own place. It's extremely difficult to find a dream place when you are some distance away, it is only when you are in the area will you be able to take your time in finding just the right place. You might try campus housing, they may also list off campus sites for rent from private owners. Good luck.
whenever it's 55-75 degrees outside and not humid.
The biggest thing to keep in mind when you're undertaking a major job such as cleaning your entire apartment is to do what you find to be the hardest, most complicated, or most boring task first and work your way down. Instead of working up to a dreaded climax, you will feel like it's only downhill from here. If you can mentally make the job seem smaller than it is, you will get down faster.
honestly the only place you will find 4 bedroom apts is in the projects. and you dont want to live there, trust. they dont really have nice 4 bedroom apts here. u will be better off renting a house. try har.com. good luck
If safety and security are your main concerns. I would drive through the area a few times at different times of the day, to get a feel for what you might be seeing. Also consider checking with the local police department regarding crime stats and perhaps the local newspaper as well.

There are plenty of affordable places to live in Silver Spring. It depends on what part of Silver Spring you would like to live in. Silver Spring is a large diverse area. If you would like to live close to the city I would suggest Summit Hills. It is modest and very reasonable. The complex includes a gym and several other amentities. It is also close to downtown Silver Spring.
