Help answer the question about cost of living in an apartment

How can I cut down my cost of living so I can afford an apartment?
I'm looking to live in an apartment in college (because I know I could never take it living in a dorm). Do you know of any ways to cut down on living expenses/clothings purchases so I can afford an apartment? What are some cheap but realtively healthy foods I can purchase? (I don't want to be eating Ramen noodles for dinner every night, and I do like to eat healthy.) Can you help me?

you can put it on you deck landing and now they have mounts where you can put them on the ground and have a fake rock to hide it from people and animals

The laws indicate that apartment complexes cannot unreasonably restrict your choice to have satellite TV. However, they CAN charge fees for allowing you the choice. $200 won't be considered unreasonable.

i think this is the first video on youtube that had the camera on someone’s face, and that someone was talking about something not exactly humorous that I actually watched from beginning to end… I want to go to Tokyo :(

Well nothing legal… We were close enough to the corner we jus put pole in a 5 gal bucket filled with cement and set it beside the building with satellite attached. Then paid the gardner 100 bucks to watch the cord while trimming and not to turn us in.
Or pay someone on the other side off and go through the wall.

    Welcome to appt living.

On the right side of the web page, directly underneath the picture of me where it says “TokyoCooney” is a text box. In small blue text it says “more info” click that and read the text description of the video. I believe in you! Yes you can! You can do it!

Its written in the video description on the side. It always is.

Well if you do get a dish system please have written permission from the landlord outlining where they can put it. You can, in theory, place the dish in the home if the window faces the correct way. Go to http://www.fcc.gov to get the exact wording about where you can put it. I work for a satellite company and honesty I would not advise putting a dish in the apartment. Chances are you wont be able to get a line of sight anyway.

Satellite Dish used as Receiver is just like a television antenna that receives signal from a satellite transmitter.

No, it's never harmful or else the government would not allow its installation there.

wow, internet will cost me P3000 (converted in peso) in Tokyo compared to P1200 that i pay in my country. Nevertheless, from what i heard the salary will compensate for the high standard of living there.

Don't tell everybody; but when I had mine hooked up, I went to the Yellow Pages and looked under direct tv satellite service. I had three companies and I could choose exactly what I wanted at a competative price.

Yes, look into a DP34 or DP44 switch.
These are designed to let multiple receivers run from a single dish, although you will still need a subscription.
