Camping Out in the Living Room

Is the cold winter weather keeping you from enjoying a wonderful camping trip? Last year I camped in 20 degree weather and as much as I can say that I am a rugged camper and can “endure the elements”…I was freezing my tookas off.

There is only one solution: Bring it indoors!

Move the living room furniture aside and set up your tent and camping chairs in the living room. If you have a really tall tent, you will definitely want to watch out for the ceiling fan. No need to worry about the tarps as with living room camping you will never have to deal with the rain. WOO HOO!

This sounds fun and all, but how do we get a campfire? Easy!!! Throw a Virtual Fireplace DVD on the TV to simulate the whole campfire experience. I would avoid any sort of grilling out though. Smores won’t cook well over the TV. If you want to look at the stars, you could even grab a Discovery Channel DVD on space and watch the stars in the comfort of your living…er…camping room.

If you want to smell the fresh air just crack open the patio door or a few windows. Put the heater on a comfortable temperature and, voila, your indoor camping experience is on full blast!

Turn off all your lights and break out the beef jerky…it’s time for some ghost stories!

a chance to visit it. Well, on June 1, finally, I was on my way to explore Prague, one of Europe’s most popular tourist destinations. I took the train from Vienna, enjoyed a great conversation with a young Czech lady from Brno who is now living in Berlin, and finally around 3 pm I made it into the Holesovice Railway Station in Prague. Later that afternoon and evening I took a personal tour of the Old Town area with local expert Jitka Simkova and her colleague Karel. We started on St. …

I guess a bon fire is out of the question LOL–JK

Try the scary(not sooo scary cuz they are little) ghost stories with the flash light. Or duck duck goose, play chutes and ladders or hide and seek is always a winner!! Make some pop corn and make popcorn balls, try pin the tail on the donkey.

I think that it is very cool that you are taking the time to spend quality time with your daughters!! That is awesome!! Here is a star for you!!!

It sounds like now is as good a time as any to move her.
It will be easier to settle her into that routine now than three or four months down the line.
I have four months old triplets and they still sleep with us but they are a long way off settling into a sleeping pattern but I have thought about the fact that in a couple of months if they are separated they will sleeo better. My older kids usually moved out when they were six or eight months old.
Since you live in a two bedroom house I wouldn't worry about her as you are likely to hear her if she wakes up.
As has already been suggested make sure that the eight month old is settled for at least thirty minutes before putting the three year old into her bed. Give it a two week trial period and if it doesn't work out-go back to the drawing board.

Do you have a fan to put a sheet over?
    My kids love that.

Open a window and listen to the rain…
Pop some popcorn and tell ghost stories with a flashlight. (dark sheets.)
    Got pets?
    Go 'hunting'.
I am all out of ideas and my kids are busy playing.

You have the right to express your feelings to Jack.

He's not being respectful of his other roommates.
Let him know it makes you uncomfpotable every damn weekend!
Let him know the livingroom is a shared room in the house.
Why can't they go to his gf's house?

Put your foot down. Make sure you do it with Tabathia there too, so she get's the idea about being alittle more respectful of YOUR living quarters too.

Fleetwood travel Trailers makes a Regal Regency that has either the living quarters or the kitchen located over the tongue, They are usually 35' or larger and have 3 or more slide outs as well as 3 axles instead of the standard 2.
You can go to Fleetwoods web page at " http://www.fleetwoodtraveltrailers.com" and they have a link for specific trailers.

Good Luck I hope this helps
